Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Java application migration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on backend development experience, exposure to React UI, and a good understanding of web services, databases, and application optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Work on Java application migration and modernization initiatives.
• Develop and integrate Java microservices with React-based UI applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Analyze business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications to develop effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for application improvement, process optimization, and performance enhancement.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and technical teams to implement solutions.
• Proactively communicate risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and code optimization.
• Follow appropriate testing practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience in Java application migration.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, and web services.
• Experience working with React UI applications.
• Basic knowledge of databases.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with arrays, objects, maps, matrix operations, and nested data structures.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.
• Working knowledge of TDD and related testing frameworks.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience in application modernization and performance improvement.

Interview Requirements

• Face-to-face interview is mandatory in Bangalore.
• Candidates must be willing to attend the in-person interview.
