Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Design efficient database queries and work with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot application defects, production issues, and performance problems.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding and security best practices.
• Work with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
