Java Software Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain web apps using Angular frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend, containerize with Docker, and deploy to AWS/Azure while supporting legacy JSP/Servlet/EJB systems.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular on the frontend and Java (Spring / Spring Boot) on the backend. Build and consume RESTful APIs; implement business logic, data access layers (Hibernate), and integration services. Support and enhance existing applications built on JSP, Servlets, and EJB running on Tomcat and JBoss application servers. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to cloud environments on AWS and Azure. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support SIT/UAT cycles; remediate security findings from VAPT and sonar code scans. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver fixes within agreed SLAs. Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, deployment guides, and handover documents.
