Mid / Senior Java Web Engineer
A leading global financial markets infrastructure client is looking to hire a talented Java Engiener on a long term contract in London (City - 3 days onsite pw)
The role
Join a collaborative engineering team building and enhancing a modular, end-to-end trade management platform — hands-on across backend services and web UI, working closely with architects and frontend developers.
What you'll need
- Strong Java (21 preferred), Spring Boot 3.x, and REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of React (v17).
- SQL / PostgreSQL, Git, and Maven or Gradle.
- 4–8+ years' software engineering experience.
- Comfortable in Agile teams and Linux/Unix environments.
Nice to have:
- JSF/JSP, CI/CD, Docker
- Exposure to financial/trading platforms not essential
