Jr. Software Engineer
Description
PLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for a Jr. Software Engineer to support a program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This role will support Geolocation and Data Integration. The developer will work closely with mission stakeholders to create innovative applications, analytics, and deploy solutions to customer supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis.
Responsibilities
- Mission Focus: Work in a variety of environments to develop analytics based on data from multiple cyber sources, as well as classic SIGINT via data tagging.
- Technical Proficiency: Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related area/skillset.
- Proficiency with object-oriented languages (JAVA and Python) and experience with PySpark, ETL, Pig, MapReduce, JSON, BSON, and Hadoop.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories is desired.
Salary Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
