About the Role
The Junior Full Stack Developer builds web applications end to end — frontend, backend, database and deployment to production. You will work with the Head of Innovation and internal users to develop, maintain and improve systems that are efficient, secure and meet business needs.
Responsibilities
1. Frontend Development
• Build responsive UIs with React / Next.js and TypeScript
• Create reusable components, manage state and integrate with APIs
• Turn designs (e.g., Figma) into fast, easy-to-use web pages
2. Backend Development
• Develop REST APIs with Node.js or Python (FastAPI / Django)
• Implement business logic, authentication / authorization and third-party integrations
• Integrate AI / LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) or local LLMs into product features
3. Database
• Design schemas, write queries and manage migrations (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Optimize query performance and maintain data integrity
4. Testing & Code Quality
• Write unit and integration tests for your code
• Follow the team's Git workflow (branches, pull requests) and take part in code reviews
• Write documentation such as API docs and setup guides
5. Deployment & DevOps
• Deploy with Docker and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions) on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Monitor logs and troubleshoot production issues
6. Maintenance & Support
• Fix bugs, investigate issues and support users
• Improve and extend existing features based on feedback
7. Collaboration
• Help gather requirements, estimate effort and plan work in Agile sprints
• Follow the company's security policy and apply secure coding and PDPA practices
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field (or a strong portfolio)
• 0–2 years of experience; new graduates welcome
• Foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Project experience with React or Next.js
• Backend experience in at least one language (Node.js or Python)
• Understanding of REST APIs, SQL and basic database design
• Comfortable with Git and basic Linux commands
• English sufficient to read technical documentation
