Description

About the role

KAVE is a global brand in furniture and home decor design, dedicated to inspiring unique and unconventional people like us.

The furniture and decoration industry is one of the largest retail industries worldwide. The potential is enormous and we aim high. We are a group of more than 1,100 international, talented, and motivated professionals, with the mission to completely transform the experience from design to the customer, offering sustainable designs, excellent value for money, and a top-tier omnichannel shopping experience.

We are looking for a Junior AI Automation Engineer to join our Business Process Automation (BPA) team and grow with us in transforming how we work through Artificial Intelligence, automation, and technology.

This position is designed for someone starting their professional career, with a good technological foundation, curiosity about AI, and a great desire to learn and build.

You will work alongside other BPA team profiles and different areas of Kave to understand processes and turn improvement opportunities into real automation and AI solutions.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the BPA team and different business areas to understand processes and identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient tasks that can be simplified or automated.

  • Participate in the design and development of automations and workflows using primarily n8n and other Low-Code/No-Code technologies.

  • Progressively develop solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, participating in use cases with LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent workflows.

  • Create and maintain simple integrations between applications and data sources through APIs, webhooks, and other integration mechanisms.

  • Use programming, especially Python and/or JavaScript, to complement and expand automations when necessary.

  • Participate in the different development phases of a solution: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Detect errors and incidents in existing automations and collaborate on their resolution and evolution.

  • Clearly document the developed automations and solutions to facilitate their maintenance and reuse.

  • Progressively learn and apply the development, security, quality, and scalability best practices defined by the team.

  • Participate in the monitoring of implemented solutions to understand their adoption and the impact generated on processes.

What you'll get

  • The opportunity to start your professional career working directly with automation and Artificial Intelligence applied to real business processes.

  • An environment where you can learn from experienced technical profiles and progressively assume greater autonomy and complexity.

  • The possibility of working with different areas of the company and understanding how technology, processes, and business connect.

  • Space to experiment, propose ideas, learn from mistakes, and turn new technologies into real solutions.

  • A growing project in which you can evolve towards positions of greater specialization and responsibility within the field of AI & Automation.

Requirements

  • University or technical degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or related degrees.

  • You do not need previous professional experience. We will especially value university projects, Bachelor's/Master's theses, internships, or personal projects related to programming, automation, data, or Artificial Intelligence.

  • Basic programming knowledge, preferably Python and/or JavaScript.

  • Interest in generative Artificial Intelligence, LLMs, and AI agents, and a great desire to delve into their application to real-world problems.

  • Basic knowledge or interest in learning about APIs, JSON, databases, and integration between applications.

  • Having experimented with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Platform will be valued, although it is not essential.

  • Ability to analyze problems, structure them, and seek solutions logically.

  • Technological curiosity and learning capacity, with an interest in experimenting with new tools and understanding how they can generate real value.

  • Ability to work in a team and explain simply what you are building.

  • English that allows you to operate in a technological and international environment.
