📝 Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining anomaly detection models and applications for shipboard machinery.
Clean, analyse, and prepare time-series sensor data from vessel equipment, including feature engineering.
Support model training, performance evaluation, alarm threshold adjustments, and documentation of results.
Support the enterprise AI diagnostic assistant, including document processing, embedding generation, and retrieval testing.
Assist in deploying and managing the in-house Large Language Model (LLM) platform, including model serving and GPU monitoring.
Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using Python, JavaScript, and SQL to deliver AI results to users.
Prepare technical documentation and test reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
✅ Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
Strong Python skills with working knowledge of SQL and JavaScript for web and API development.
Understanding of machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation metrics, and validation.
Hands-on experience with pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow through academic projects, internships, or personal projects.
Able to use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, with proper review and testing of generated code.
Familiar with Linux and Git.
Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or vector databases is an advantage.
