Key Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural design and project development.
- Prepare drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents using CAD or BIM software.
- Support senior architects with project coordination and documentation.
- Conduct site visits and assist with field measurements and project inspections.
- Research building codes, zoning regulations, materials, and design standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with preparing permit and construction documentation.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and field conditions.
- Help maintain project schedules, records, and design files.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Typically 0–3 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other BIM/design tools.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and architectural principles.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Progress toward architectural licensure is often preferred but not always required.
