Build and maintain backend services for an electric-vehicle charging platform using .NET/C# and AWS, integrating charging data, payments, and invoicing.

About the RoleYou will help shape the backend platform behind an electric charging experience for heavy vehicles. Working in a small cross-functional engineering team, you will have real influence over architecture, tooling and technical decisions in a product area that connects charging data, pricing, payments and invoicing across networks and countries.
The environment combines modern backend development with cloud infrastructure, integrations and complex business logic. You will work with everything from charging location data and session flows to financial integrations and VAT-related processes. Job Description- You will design, build and maintain backend services using modern .NET and C#.
- You will develop and operate containerized services in AWS, primarily with ECS and Fargate.
- You will build and manage infrastructure as code using Pulumi and similar tools.
- You will create integrations between internal services and external platforms, APIs and partner systems.
- You will contribute to solution design, architecture decisions and technical planning.
- You will improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and automated testing.
- You will strengthen monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting with the LGTM observability stack.
- You will help shape the charging platform through data ingestion, aggregation and classification, including charging location data and accessibility for heavy vehicles.
- You will support core flows connected to charging sessions, pricing, billing, invoicing, credit handling and integrations with financial systems.
- University degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of backend development experience.
- Solid experience with modern .NET and C#.
- Hands-on experience building and operating containerized services in AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery workflows, for example GitLab CI.
- Experience designing and building integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience with observability tooling and the LGTM stack, including Loki, Grafana, Tempo and Mimir.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry.
- Background in e-mobility, eMSP, payment systems, or the EV charging domain.
- Swedish language skills.
