Junior Backend Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain crypto exchange backend systems, integrate blockchain nodes, and develop secure APIs for deposit, withdrawal, and staking services using Java/Kotlin/Go/Python.

You will develop and operate virtual asset deposit and withdrawal systems, analyze and integrate external blockchain L1 and L2 distributed systems, develop backend logic for asset-based services such as staking, and build secure API interfaces between key management systems and backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate virtual asset deposit and withdrawal systems
  • Analyze new external blockchain L1 and L2 distributed systems
  • Integrate external distributed systems with exchange systems
  • Develop backend logic for asset-based services such as staking
  • Integrate reward and settlement systems with exchange systems
  • Develop and improve secure API interfaces between key management systems and backend services

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of practical experience or equivalent understanding
  • Proficiency in at least one of Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python and related frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Ability to design, develop, and operate stable and scalable backend systems
  • Understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL characteristics, including MySQL and Redis
  • Ability to design schemas and optimize queries for large-scale data
  • Experience analyzing and improving system performance bottlenecks using computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms
  • Experience designing or operating distributed systems
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in AWS or GCP environments
  • Blockchain node integration or EVM development experience or interest
  • Experience operating mission-critical financial or trading systems
  • Ability to solve complex domain problems and collaborate with technical teams
