We are seeking an Entry-level Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of back-end systems that power our business operations and mobile game platforms. You will work closely with experienced engineers to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance internal systems while growing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining internal systems and platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration between back-end systems, front-end platforms, and databases.
Help monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of back-end systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues and support smooth day-to-day system operations.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system designs, implementations, and configurations.
Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, coding standards, and system architecture.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0-2 years of professional experience in software development or internships in a related role. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Basic programming knowledge in one or more languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or PHP. Experience with Java or Golang is an advantage. Familiarity with common Internet technologies such as Linux, MySQL, caching technologies, APIs, and basic microservices concepts is a plus. Understanding of software development fundamentals including clean code practices, version control, and debugging. Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset. Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proficiency in English and Chinese to communicate with cross-functional teams, including Chinese-speaking counterparts. Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
