Summary
Junior developer on the internal IT team at PT Alexa Medika (on-site in Tangerang), building and maintaining in-house web applications and business systems, integrating databases, APIs and ERP services, and automating workflows across on-prem and cloud. Uses JavaScript/TypeScript or Python; fresh graduates welcome.
Join our IT Team and help develop practical software solutions that improve business operations. You will work closely with business users to build and maintain internal applications, automate workflows, and support the company's digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web applications and business systems, including frontend and backend functionalities.
Develop and integrate databases, APIs, ERP systems, and external services to support business operations.
Build automation tools and solutions to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with business users to understand requirements, address feedback, and deliver practical technical solutions.
Deploy, configure, and maintain applications across on-premises and cloud environments, including updates and troubleshooting.
Utilize AI tools to assist with research, prototyping, coding, testing, and problem-solving.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python.
Hands-on experience with frontend and backend web development through academic, internship, or personal projects.
Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, and system integration.
Familiarity with Git, debugging, and software testing.
Basic understanding of server environments, application deployment, and configuration.
Ability to effectively utilize AI tools for software development, research, and problem-solving.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
ERP systems, business applications, or system customization.
AI application development, AI agents, or workflow automation.
Linux, Docker, reverse proxies, CI/CD pipelines, or server administration.
Data integration, operational dashboards, or reporting solutions.
IoT integration or industrial automation systems.
