Junior DevOps Engineer- Contract

Summary

Maintains and automates Java-based enterprise workflows using CI/CD, IaC, and Kubernetes on cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and performance.

We are looking for a

DevOps Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation, and enterprise application support. The role will focus on enhancing Java-based workflow applications, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support Java-based enterprise workflow applications. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate build, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including SSO, SSL, load balancing, auto-scaling, and DNS. Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with vendors to upgrade and integrate DevOps tools and platforms. Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of DevOps Engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with

Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, JIRA, and Confluence . Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP , and IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Strong scripting skills in

Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or Groovy . Knowledge of monitoring tools such as

Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk . Experience with

JUnit, continuous testing, REST APIs, and Agile/DevOps practices . Exposure to

Camunda, Apache Airflow, or other enterprise workflow platforms

is preferred. Knowledge of

Generative AI/LLM Engineering

is an added advantage. Cloud or DevOps certifications are desirable.
