Junior DevOps Software Engineer
Summary
Avaron, a Swedish staffing firm, is hiring a Junior DevOps engineer to work on assignment at Volvo Cars in Göteborg, building and integrating software for development and release flows of next-generation in-vehicle compute platforms. Day-to-day is hands-on Linux work with Python, C/C++, shell scripting, and CI/CD tooling like Gerrit, Bazel, Jenkins, and Docker.

Job Description- You will design, build, test, and integrate software that supports development and release flows for the Core Computer.
- You will work hands-on with tools that are central to software development, continuous integration, and delivery.
- You will help build a modern, modular, and stable platform for embedded software development.
- You will contribute to a full-stack development environment used for next-generation vehicle applications.
- You will collaborate with other engineers in a culture that values curiosity, shared learning, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Development competence in areas such as Python, C/C++ for POSIX-like environments, and Shell scripting
