We are looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to strengthen our Google Cloud Platform team in the infrastructure department. The right candidate for this role will have passion for their work, finds it easy to learn and brings experience working with infrastructure in Cloud and/or on premise environments. Preferably you are used to working in diverse environments with multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in setting up and securing GCP environments for AI model deployment, applying governance policies, IAM, encryption, and tailored security controls for AI/ML workloads.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., code assistants and intelligent analytics) to optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, CI/CD pipeline automation, and incident troubleshooting.
• Support the implementation of architectural best practices and governance frameworks for the safe adoption of AI models in client environments, ensuring data privacy and compliance.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team on migrating workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) from on-premise or other cloud environments.
• Engage in all stages of migration projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement new projects and solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (DevOps). These projects will encompass resource governance, networking, security, scaling, load balancing, storage, backup, and virtual machines, all optimized for GCP.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive observability solutions, integrating logging, monitoring, and tracing to ensure the health and performance of GCP workloads.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data within GCP, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
• Continuously pursue training and certifications in GCP's diverse service offerings and components, such as architecture, data and storage management, networking, and multi-cloud solutions.
