Junior Java Developer

📍 Warsaw | Hybrid model (only 1-2 days per month in the office)
We are looking for a Java Developer to join a project focused on the development and maintenance of systems processing large volumes of real-time data. This role combines software development, database-related activities, testing, and deployment support within a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain development environments.
Develop and implement new functionalities and enhancements.
Create, modify, and maintain database components.
Prepare and execute unit and integration tests.
Design and perform performance testing activities.
Verify compliance of delivered solutions with system architecture, coding standards, and quality requirements.
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
Prepare software changes for deployment, including code repository management, configuration updates, and deployment documentation.
Requirements
Commercial experience in Java development.
Experience working with systems processing large volumes of real-time data.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
Experience with relational databases and database development.
Experience creating and executing unit and integration tests.
Understanding of software development best practices, code reviews, and quality standards.
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the Java Swing library.
Previous experience in banking or financial services projects
Experience in developing and maintaining Java desktop applications.
