Senior Java Developer

Java Developer (Kafka)

📍 Warsaw | Hybrid model (only 1-2 days per month in the office)

We are looking for a Java Developer to join a project within the focused on the development and maintenance of systems that process large volumes of real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and configuring development environments.

• Developing and implementing new functionalities.

• Creating and modifying database structures.

• Designing and executing unit and integration tests.

• Developing and performing performance tests.

• Ensuring that implemented changes comply with system architecture and quality standards.

• Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities.

• Preparing solutions for deployment, including code repository management, configuration updates, and deployment documentation.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in Java development.

• Previous experience in banking or financial services projects (mandatory).

• Experience working with systems that process large volumes of real-time data.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

• Experience creating and executing unit and integration tests.

• Knowledge of relational databases.

• Understanding of software development best practices and quality standards.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Java Swing library.

• Experience developing and maintaining desktop applications based on Java Swing.
