Junior Java Developer

For a client with over 20 years of experience, teams of highly-trained engineers around the world, deep industry sector knowledge, and ongoing technology research, we are looking for a Junior Java Developer. The company helps clients create custom software that improves their operations and opens new markets. Also, it has a long history of relationships and over the years has helped the client develop web-portals and mobile apps, delivery control systems, staff management tools, data storage, and much more. The systems built together work in production 24/7. The company provides consultation and development of software for the client in both areas of their activities: online sales and creation of a proprietary world-class suite of solutions for operating grocery businesses.

We're looking for passionate, product-focused software engineers who have hacked systems in creative ways, who are curious about new languages, technologies, and trends.

What You Should Have

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent degree
• Some experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• One or more of Kubernetes, Mesos/DCOS, or Docker Swarm
• Docker or related container technology
• RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented languages (Java, Golang)
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate technical ideas to anyone

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Java, AWS, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
