Junior Laboratory Technician (Buona Vista, $2400, 5 days Office Hours) #HJY

Location: Buona Vista
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Starts in Jan 2027)
Salary: $2400

Job Description:
Laboratory Testing and Operations
- Perform assigned laboratory testing activities in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methodologies.
- Support performance testing of finished products, specialty products, and project-specific samples.
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely completion of assigned testing activities.
- Identify and promptly report testing deviations, equipment malfunctions, and laboratory anomalies to the Team Leader.

Data Management and Documentation
- Accurately record, process, and submit technical data through designated work request management and reporting systems.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable laboratory records in accordance with established documentation requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable quality procedures.

Laboratory Maintenance and Inventory Management
- Monitor, replenish, and maintain laboratory samples, consumables, and reagent inventories.
- Maintain equipment usage, maintenance, and calibration records as required.
- Perform routine laboratory housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Safety, Quality, and Team Collaboration
- Adhere to organizational Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and laboratory quality standards.
- Work closely with the Team Leader to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support laboratory productivity and operational excellence.
- Communicate laboratory issues, observations, and potential improvements promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Science
