Junior Manager II - Inter company
Job Summary:
Ensures completion of account reconciliation and analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry. Completes the month-end close process. Performs activities under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Compiles, consolidates and conducts analysis of accounting and finance information. Prepares standard journal entries that require analysis. Performs more complex monthly and annual account reconciliations. Prepares tables, charts and other exhibits for reports. May perform complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on complex projects. Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Educational Qualifications :
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Experience Level:
4+ years of relevant experience in General Ledger Reporting / inter company accounting, good to attention to detail and well organized. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines, working globally would be an advantage.
Job Summary:
Responsible for Inter company related transactions and its accounting, good knowledge of ledger and sub ledger. Performs financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Post accounting entries as per defined process and procedures
- Manage inter company related requests, queries and ad hoc analysis related requirements as per need basis.
- Support General ledger and month end team for any queries or requirements related to inter company transactions
- Review, investigate and resolve issues relating to inter company balances.
- Ensure accuracy of reporting in multiple currencies and the conversion techniques to US$
- Manage month end procedures as per globally agreed timelines and procedures
- Ensure SOx documentation is maintained in accordance with current processes and controls.
- Ensure SLA’s are met.
- Must be flexible in approach and a team player.
- Maintain excellent customer service with all CBS and Cummins stakeholders.
