Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Naval Architects to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. Candidate should have a solid understanding of ship stability and strength analysis with a focus on integrating their expertise into our project, enhancing maritime safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop computational models for stability and strength analysis.
- Perform ship stability and longitudinal strength analysis and validate models.
- Excellent problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills.
- Develop hydrostatic solvers using Python/C/C++.
- Assist software developers in problems related to ship stability and strength analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Naval architecture
- Should be familiar with statutory and classification rules related to stability and strength analysis of ships.
- Should have strong knowledge in any 3D CAD software
- Bachelor’s degree (B. Tech or BE) in Naval Architecture or related field.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Rhino or Blender or similar) is an added advantage
- Master’s degree (MTech or ME) in Naval Architecture is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
