Junior Network Engineer (Change Co-Ordinator)

We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer and Change Coordinator to support a major network refresh project within a large organisation. This contract opportunity is ideal for a network professional with 2–3 years experience looking to build their enterprise networking and change management skills.

You will support network infrastructure changes, maintenance activities, documentation, and IT change processes, working closely with technical teams, project stakeholders, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support network refresh activities, hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with network changes, documentation, approvals, and implementation planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and support stakeholder communications.
  • Assist with incident management and network asset tracking.
About You
  • 2–3 years experience in network engineering, operations, or infrastructure support.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, LAN/WAN, Layer 2/3 networking, routing, wireless, and IP addressing.
  • Exposure to ITIL change management processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Cisco Catalyst Centre (DNA Centre)
  • Cisco ISE
  • Software Defined Access (SDA)
  • SolarWinds
Qualifications
  • IT, Computer Science, or related qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
  • CCNA and/or ITIL® 4 Foundation certification highly regarded.
