Junior QA Engineer

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team and help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performing software.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• University Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Familiarity with web and/or mobile application testing
• Experience working with bug tracking tools (like Jira)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Good communication skills in English
  

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality
• Report bugs clearly and track them through resolution
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools
• Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
  
  Nice to have:
  
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Background in the financial sector is considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of APIs and API testing is a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL queries is considered an advantage
  • Any relevant QA/testing certification is a plus
