Junior QHSE Executive

As a Junior QHSE Executive at Dezign Format, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS), covering QHSE and Sustainability. You will assist with audits, inspections, risk assessments, compliance monitoring, incident follow-ups, and sustainability reporting while promoting awareness of relevant ISO standards across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS), covering Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE), and Sustainability, in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 20121 standards

• Assist in documenting and following up on non-conformance cases, and support timely closure with guidance from QHSE Manager

• Help coordinate and update quality assurance and sustainability policies under supervision

• Support the preparation and review of audit reports, inspection records, and improvement actions

• Assist with workplace/site inspections, risk assessments, incident reporting and investigation follow-up, and toolbox talks

• Collaborate with departments to promote QHSE awareness and assist in improving processes

• Liaise with internal teams and support communication with external parties on QHSE and Sustainability matters

• Help track and compile sustainability-related data, including basic carbon footprint reporting

• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assist with compliance

• Provide support in reporting on IMS performance and improvement suggestions for management review

• Help ensure changes to the management system uphold ISO 20121 system integrity

Requirements

• Fresh diploma graduates are most welcome to apply

• Diploma in Engineering, Building, Facility Management, Environmental Science, Safety & Health, Quality Management, Business, Management or equivalent

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Basic understanding of local and international QHSE management practices, including ISO management systems and relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001, 14001, 20121, 9001, and bizSAFE standards), or a strong interest in learning

• WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) is preferred

• A team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Interest or experience in sustainability and carbon reporting is a plus

• Certification as an internal QHSE auditor is advantageous but not mandatory
