Junior/Senior Software Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable, enterprise-grade full-stack web applications end to end — from design and implementation to deployment and production support — for a Singapore IT consulting firm. Stack spans React/Next.js or Angular/Vue front ends, Golang/Java/Python/Node.js back ends, AWS/Azure cloud, and CI/CD with Terraform.
Location: Central (Hybrid)
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance full-stack applications .
- Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Drive continuous improvements in software engineering practices, development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation initiatives.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-centric solutions.
- Support client integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely resolution to production challenges.
- Identify opportunities to improve application reliability, scalability, security, and development efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, Agile methodologies, and established software delivery processes.
What We're Looking For
- Min. 1-7 years of experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Golang, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including deploying and supporting cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software deployment methodologies.
- Experience working with IAC such as Terraform would be greatly advantageous
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
