Junior Software Developer

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel, React, Next.js, and C#
  
• Design and optimize databases using MySQL and MongoDB
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
  
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow industry best practices for development and security
  
• Continuously explore new technologies and improve development practices
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
  
• Design software architecture and create technical specifications based on the project needs.
  
• Develop software applications by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of software to identify and resolve any defects or issues.
  
• Ensure software meets quality standards, performance requirements, and security guidelines.
  
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback on code quality.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and testers,to ensure effective project execution.
  
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.
  
• Provide support and maintenance for existing software applications as needed.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and best practices.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in software development.
  
• Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle.
  
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development frameworks.
  
• Experience with databases, APIs, and software development best practices will be an added advantage.
  
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting complex software solutions.
  
• Proven experience with PHP Laravel, C#, React, and Next.js
  
• Strong understanding of MySQL and MongoDB database design and management
  
• Familiarity with API development and integration
  
• Experience with version control tools like Git
  
• Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
  
• Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
  
• Strong problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  
• A portfolio of personal projects or previous work experience is highly desirable.
  
• Candidates must have remained with at least one employer for a minimum of two (2) consecutive years, demonstrating stability and commitment in previous roles.
