As a Junior Specialist Nephrologist, you will support the diagnosis and management of kidney-related conditions under the guidance of senior nephrologists. Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating patients by collecting medical histories and performing nephrological examinations
- Order and help interpret diagnostic tests including blood work, urinalysis, and imaging
- Support in diagnosing and managing kidney diseases such as chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and nephritis
- Contribute to the development and execution of treatment plans under supervision
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to senior nephrologists
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization or training in nephrology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Experience or internship in nephrology is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of nephrology principles, diseases, and treatments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a healthcare team
