We are looking for a Junior System Engineer to work on the maintenance and administration of server and virtualization infrastructure. The position is suitable for someone with basic knowledge and a desire to grow in the field of system administration.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of server and storage technologies
- Experience working with at least one hypervisor (VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V)
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration
- Understanding of backup and data recovery principles
- Willingness to work in shifts / on-call duty (if applicable)
- Responsibility, a systematic approach, and eagerness to learn
- Maintaining and monitoring physical servers and server infrastructure
- Administering storage and SAN systems (creating and assigning volumes, monitoring capacity and performance)
- Configuring and monitoring backup systems, verifying backup success, and testing restore procedures
- Working with virtualization platforms: VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V (creating and maintaining virtual machines, snapshots, migrations)
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems
- Regular system updates (patch management) and tracking security updates
- Resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues within assigned responsibilities
- Maintaining technical documentation on the infrastructure and changes made
- Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewall)
- Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell)
- Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Linux)
