Junior Systems Engineer (Wintel)

What you’ll do

Assist with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows servers.
Support user account management in Active Directory and Azure AD.
Help resolve issues in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint).
Follow procedures to investigate and escalate technical incidents.
Maintain accurate documentation and asset records.
Learn from experienced engineers and grow your technical skills.

What You Need to Succeed

Basic understanding of Windows Server and how Windows environments work.
Interest in supporting Wintel infrastructure and developing deeper skills over time.
Familiarity with virtualisation (VMware or Hyper‑V is a bonus).
Basic awareness of Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 tools.
An understanding of Active Directory (users, groups, DHCP, DNS, GPOs).
Some exposure to storage concepts (SAN/NAS or virtual storage).
General understanding of IT hardware and how infrastructure components fit together.
Awareness of ITIL practices (incidents, changes, problem management).
Basic ability to use PowerShell or command‑line tools (or willingness to learn)
