About the role
As part of the Marketing team, you'll help shape the online experience across the Z, Caltex and U-GO websites, ensuring customers can easily find information, engage with our promotions, and access the products and services they need.
As our Kaitaki Ihirangi Tukutuku Web Content Manager you will take ownership of our websites as a key marketing channel. You'll manage day-to-day website operations, publish and optimize content, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and engagement across our digital platforms.
You'll bring experience managing website content, confidence using website analytics and performance data to drive decisions, and a strong understanding of how content, search visibility and user experience work together to deliver great outcomes. You'll also be comfortable working with agency and technology partners to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements and maintain effective website operations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across a range of responsibilities and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, balancing business priorities with customer needs, while ensuring our websites remain accurate, on-brand, high-performing and easy to use.

This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.
You will have the opportunity to
- Manage and publish content, imagery, video and digital assets across multiple websites
- Monitor website performance and work with internal and external partners to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Optimise content and site structure to improve search visibility and discoverability
- Use website analytics and customer insights to improve journeys, engagement and content effectiveness
- Lead website governance, quality assurance and content standards
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, communications, technology and external agencies to deliver great digital experiences
What you’ll bring to Z
- Experience managing website content in a content management system
- Strong understanding of SEO, GEO and content optimisation principles
- Experience using Google Analytics or similar tools to generate actionable insights
- A customer-focused mindset with an interest in improving digital experiences
- Excellent stakeholder management both internally and with external partners
- Great communication skills and a bias for action
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality outcomes

The base salary range for this role is $92,100 to $108,350 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company and individual performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
