Kakao & Influencer Marketing Specialist (Korean Market)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Korea Marketing Specialist to lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives for the Korea market. This role will be responsible for driving localized marketing campaigns across social media, influencer marketing, promotional initiatives, and digital channels to support brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of projects, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns while identifying new opportunities to grow iHerb's presence in Korea.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action, solving problems proactively, and delivering high-quality marketing execution with speed and attention to detail.

Job Expectations:

• Execute integrated marketing initiatives for the Korea market in alignment with regional and global business objectives.
• Manage external agencies across social media, influencer marketing, and promotional asset development to ensure high-quality and timely execution.
• Oversee iHerb's local social media presence, including KakaoTalk, Instagram, and YouTube, while driving audience engagement and brand growth.
• Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns from planning through execution and performance review.
• Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Paid Media, Creative, and other internal stakeholders to deliver localized marketing campaigns.
• Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables are executed efficiently.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with Korean market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen iHerb's local marketing presence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required:

• Experience in digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, or integrated marketing in the Korea market.
• Experience managing agencies and coordinating multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of the Korean digital ecosystem, including KakaoTalk, Instagram, YouTube, and influencer landscape.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and execute with urgency.
• Fluent in Korean required; English proficiency preferred.

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in social media and/or influencer marketing, with preference for candidates with experience in the Korean or broader APAC market.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience required.
