Key Account Manager (Japanese Speaking)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
• Understand customer needs and recommend effective commercial and operational solutions.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to support customer programmes and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct regular business reviews, monitor account performance, and implement improvement plans.
• Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and business development activities.
• Analyse market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate supply chain activities and resolve operational issues to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and management reports.
• Travel across ASEAN countries and India to develop customer relationships and support regional business expansion.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese speaking counterparts.
• Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, or related functions.
• Strong experience within the automotive and/or semiconductor industry supply chain environment.
• Experience managing Japanese-speaking customers or supporting business operations related to Japan.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and develop business growth strategies.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across ASEAN countries and India for business purposes.
