Key Customer Manager

The Key Customer Manager is responsible for managing key accounts (relevant from a business and complexity perspective), ensuring a long-term relationship and maximizing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Partner with all key customer stakeholders: buyers, store managers, distributors, etc.

  • Full management of group of National and / or Regional Customers.

Business Development & Commercial Execution

  • Achieve the Company’s goals in terms of sales and distribution for the assigned Key customers by partnering effectively with the Retail Execution Team, Consumer Marketing, Logistics, Finance.

  • Support the development of annual business plans for all key Customers according to the Company Strategy to drive profitably, increase sales, volumes, distribution and market share.

  • Understand customer’s needs to support recommendations of potential business solutions.

Performance Management & Business Analysis

  • Provide deep analysis of performance trends and monitor KPIs in order to contribute to define and implement effective action plans to improve performance.

  • Provide coverage of stores to understand business dynamics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree Required (Business Administration, Economics or equivalent).

  • Previous experience of minimum 3 years in commercial roles (preferably in a customer facing relevant role).

  • A Cross functional experience of minimum 1-2 years in a Trade Marketing/other Commercial roles will be considered a plus.

  • Strong negotiation skills; Customer orientation/Problem solving attitude in challenging environment.

  • Highly self-motivated; Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills.

  • Proven ability in time management, planning/priority setting, and managing budgets.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) and ability to learn company specific tools & programs.

  • Languages: Italian mother tongue, English fluent.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected Gross Annual Salary Range: €48.500 ─ €56.500 gross per year

This position is offered under a permanent employment contract.

The role is governed by the applicable Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CCNL”) Chemical Industry, including the relevant job classification and economic provisions applicable to the position.

The initial compensation within the above range will be determined on the basis of objective, transparent and gender-neutral criteria, including professional experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, role requirements, location, applicable CCNL classification and internal company policies.

Subject to role eligibility and applicable company policy, employees may also be eligible to participate in variable compensation programs tied to company and/or individual performance, including an annual target bonus opportunity.

Relocation Assistance

Relocation assistance may be considered for this role and it may include:

  • Short-term temporary housing for a limited period to support the transition to the new location; and

  • Reimbursement of reasonable relocation expenses, in line with internal relocation policies and applicable tax and social security rules.

Specific terms and conditions of any relocation package, including duration of temporary housing and reimbursable expenses, will be detailed in the relevant employment and/or relocation documentation.
