Kidswear Designer

Our client is a leading Japanese based golf wear and accessories retailer in Hong Kong, they invite bright and energetic candidate for the following vacancy:


Responsibilities:

• Create and execute on the vision to ensuring that the product Is consistent with market trend, while maintain the brand identity and overall business strategy;
• Knowledge and understanding of the sportswear, kids wear & causal lifestyle product and client;
• Build strong relationships with the merchandising team to define seasonal framework and ensure that creative ideas and business goals are aligned;
• Possess strong knowledge of garment construction and conduct fit sessions to help solve all problems that may occur during proto sample stage; responsible for final approval of sample fit to ensure production – ready market samples.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design
• 2-3 years relevant working experience and portfolio of designing for apparel, preferably in sportswear (Golf) and kids wear;
• Excellent fashion styling and color sense, printing and graphic design;
• Full knowledge of raw materials washes and finished specific to the product;
• Strong interpersonal skills and good communication / presentation skills;
• Willing to work for different kind of design;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, spoken Japanese is an advantage;
• Travel to China , South East Asia and Japan is required;
• Immediately available is an advantage.
