Knowledge Specialist - ESG
- Key expert contact for compliance requirements required to access to specific countries and/or programs.
- Provide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues.
- Track regulatory trends and communicate upcoming regulatory changes.
Identify business opportunity and translate them in a simple manner to stakeholders from COU.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Perform other duties as directed.
ESG Regulatory Expertise & Market Access
- Act as the primary expert contact for ESG compliance requirements required to access specific geographic areas ( Africa, Middle East)
Provide guidance on ESG-related regulatory frameworks, reporting obligations, and sustainability requirements impacting market access.
Stakeholder Support & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a point-of-access support to address local regulatory requirements and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent interpretation of ESG requirements.
- Regulatory Intelligence & Trend Monitoring
- Track ESG regulatory trends (e.g., sustainability reporting, decarbonization, due diligence laws) and proactively communicate upcoming changes.
- Maintain up-to-date intelligence within internal knowledge tools and platforms.
- Business Opportunity Identification
- Identify emerging ESG-related business opportunities and translate complex regulatory insights into clear, actionable inputs for Countries/Operating Units (COUs).
- Support commercialization by linking regulatory developments to customer value and service offerings.
- Research & Analysis Coordination
- Independently coordinate and deliver multi-country, multi-regulation ESG studies, covering various product categories and regulatory segments.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of research outputs.
- Governance, Ethics & Compliance
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct.
- Adhere to all physical and digital security practices, ensuring protection of sensitive data and information.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned to support ESG program growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree required in Law, Sustainability and related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.
- Able to connect the regulation rules with customer needs and business opportunities.
- Research and data interpretation skills, with analytical and critical thinking
- Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.
- Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences.
- Experienced and knowledgeable for a ESG regulatory segments, with focus on Middle East and Africa.
- Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe with easy word difficult concept, network builder.
