Role Title: Korean Language Expert

micro1 is engaging Korean Language Experts to contribute linguistic insight and bilingual expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Evaluate and generate Korean language content for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  2. Analyze Korean text and spoken material to ensure natural usage and idiomatic correctness.
  3. Provide detailed feedback and linguistic annotations to enhance AI language understanding.
  4. Translate and localize materials between Korean and English, prioritizing contextual meaning over literal translation.
  5. Collaborate with project participants to refine data collection and annotation processes.
  6. Contribute to the development of language guidelines and resources tailored for AI training purposes.
  7. Participate in regular written and verbal communication to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Korean and advanced English language skills.
  2. Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language field.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail in both languages.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with language data or content review in a professional context.
  5. Ability to provide constructive feedback and linguistic insight in a clear, collaborative manner.
  6. Familiarity with language technology, digital content platforms, or AI-driven projects is a plus.
  7. Strong intercultural awareness and sensitivity to nuances in Korean language usage.
