Core stack: OpenShift, ACM, HAProxy, Calico/OVN, Argo CD/GitOps, and CI/CD tooling.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically 3–5 years of experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift engineering, container platform operations, or infrastructure automation.

  • Strong familiarity with the OpenShift platform architecture, including control plane/worker node lifecycle, Operators/OLM, and cluster upgrades.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) for multi-cluster policy, governance, and application lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes core concepts — pods, deployments, services, ingress/routes, namespaces, RBAC, persistent storage, and networking (OVN-
    Kubernetes/SDN, Calico).
  • Experience managing Kubernetes networking and traffic management concepts, including HAProxy, load balancer services, ingress controllers, and routes for exposing and load- balancing application traffic.
  • Experience with container security practices, including image scanning, Security Context Constraints, and secrets management.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, ArgoCD, or similar) integrated with container registries and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform) and Git-based workflows.
  • Experience with advanced Argo CD patterns, such as the app-of-apps model and multi- cluster ApplicationSets for fleet-wide deployments.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes storage solutions (OpenShift Data Foundation/Ceph, NetApp
  • Trident, CSI drivers).
  • Experience using AI tools for log analysis, anomaly detection, or operational automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
