Job Summary
Experienced L3 Automation Engineer needed to design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, improve service reliability, and support mission-critical infrastructure across cloud, network, security, and DevOps environments.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Has 10–15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Automation Engineering;
- Strong expertise in PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting;
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, and Azure/AWS environments;
- Proficiency with REST APIs, Git, and automation frameworks;
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Go scripting, SRE, and DevSecOps practices with exposure to cloud automation and monitoring tools;
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate, Ansible, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), VMware, and SRE/DevOps certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions to improve operational efficiency;
- Create and manage automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash;
- Implement and support Ansible/Terraform-based automation frameworks;
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes;
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and DevOps teams;
- Troubleshoot automation failures and provide L3 technical support for critical environments;
- Develop and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines and integrations;
- Monitor, optimize, and enhance automation workflows for reliability and scalability;
- Document automation processes, standards, and best practices.
