Lab Informatics Specialist (Pharmaceutical/ Software Consultation)

Responsibilities:

• Support pre-sales activities for laboratory informatics solutions, including CDS, SDMS, LIMS, ELN, and analytics platforms across the Asia Pacific region.
• Develop and maintain in-depth product expertise in software configurations, functionalities, and new platform capabilities.
• Provide technical and sales support to regional sales teams in recommending suitable informatics solutions and optimal system configurations.
• Engage customers through distributors and regional partners to address technical pre-sales enquiries and solution requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations, workflow assessments, and Proof of Concept (POC) activities to showcase solution value and business benefits.
• Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer needs and propose effective informatics solutions.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights on competitor products and industry developments.
• Prepare and deliver product training, user materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with analytical instruments.
• Experience in business development, marketing, or technical sales involving Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Experience in field-based sales, pre-sales, or distributor support environments.
• Familiarity with laboratory informatics solutions such as CDS, SDMS, LIMS, ELN, and analytics platforms.
• Experience working in regulated environments within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, analytical instrumentation, and customer solution requirements.
• Ability to conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof of Concept (POC) activities.
• Experience with analytical instrument vendors or within the life sciences industry is an added advantage.
