Lab Technician, Microbiology (East) #HJO

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiology testing according to established procedures and protocols.
• Conduct microbiological testing including sterility, bioburden, aseptic filtration and environmental monitoring/testing.
• Perform testing of in-process solutions and other microbiological samples as required.
• Carry out environmental sample collection and testing within the manufacturing facility.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain complete testing records.
• Follow established work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory requirements.
• Ensure accurate and traceable documentation, including information recorded in device history records.
• Support microbiological testing activities in compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Assist with validation and revalidation activities for critical systems and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain good laboratory practices and ensure assigned testing activities are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or related science discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant microbiology laboratory experience.
• Familiar with laboratory SOPs, documentation and good laboratory practices.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a laboratory team.
