Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a 2D artist in Game Development
- Strong portfolio with at least 2 commercial projects unrelated to casinos and slots
- Deep knowledge of 2D art (composition, anatomy, color theory)
- Basic knowledge in related fields (3D modeling, animation, technical art) and the ability to combine these areas within a single project to achieve a cohesive product vision
- Ability to develop a comprehensive and competitive art style for games
- Ability to estimate assigned tasks in terms of people and hours
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely
- Confidence in presenting and justifying ideas to management and clients
- Keeping up with the latest trends in Game Art
- Upper-intermediate or advanced English level
Good to have:
- Experience as an Lead Artist in Game Development
- Skills working with Unity and/or Unreal engines
- Passion for video games
Job responsibilities:
- Leading the estimation process of art assets and game features
- Developing the art vision of projects, leading the creation of a visual style, design, and overall look & feel of games
- Developing concept artwork, defining art style guidelines & processes
- Communicating with clients to identify opportunities for improvement to ensure that the product is of the highest quality
- Leading the art production of internal & external teams, providing detailed feedback to artists
- Ensuring that final production art is up to expected standards of design and polish
