The Difference You Will Make
Airbnb is seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Hosting Services to support the growth of Airbnb's initiatives in the Hosting Services space, including the Co-Host Network, Host Referrals program, and Superhost Ambassadors program. This role is pivotal in analyzing the success of these supply programs across countries and host segments to better understand the drivers of key business, financial, and engagement metrics. The individual in this role will focus on in-depth data analysis, statistical modeling, metric definition, impact assessment, experimentation, and synthesis of insights to inform prioritization.
A Typical Day

Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across key geographical markets and host segments.

Manage stakeholder relationships across the homes supply team, ensuring clarity of communication and strategic alignment on analytics initiatives.

Analyze broad data to understand the drivers of new listing supply, availability, revenue, churn and other key metrics related to host needs and engagement.

Define new metrics and identify leading indicators of key business outcomes.

Build dashboards and data pipelines to track key performance metrics across markets and host segments to establish benchmarks.

Develop and support agentic workflows and AI-assisted tools to automate recurring data analysis and reporting tasks, improving the speed and scale of insights delivery and enabling self-serve access to data across the homes supply team.

Conduct A/B tests to improve business performance and maximize incrementality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science, to align strategies and leverage synergies.
Your Expertise

A quantitative undergraduate degree with a strong preference for candidates holding an MBA or equivalent advanced degree, with 8+ years of industry experience in a Data Science, Analytics, or equivalent role.

Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting.

Deep technical expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, experimentation and causal inference, familiarity with LLMs, and experience applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets.

Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments.

Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner.

Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.

An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact.

The base pay range shown below is monthly, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
