Lead Architect - Enterprise Payment Capability
Salary: £38,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- We need extensive experience of Enterprise Architecture, ideally within financial services.
- We need an excellent understanding of architecture, associated strategies and frameworks.
- We need extensive experience shaping enterprise architecture and technology solutions for payment capabilities in financial services organisations.
- We need experience aligning regulatory obligations, operational resilience requirements and business growth objectives.
- We need well developed interpersonal, analytical, planning and organising skills.
- We need strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- We need the ability to work on our own initiative.
- We need to be educated to degree level or equivalent.
- We need architecture certification, for example TOGAF.
- We need significant relevant strategy and enterprise architecture experience, preferably gained in the financial services industry.
- We need previous experience influencing and consulting with senior business leaders.
- It would be helpful if we can think and talk to abstract, logical or theoretical concepts in a strategic and business context.
- We will act as a subject matter expert and engage positively with key business leader stakeholders.
- We will represent our CBS Technology team internally and externally where required.
- We will collaborate with Business Owners and Sponsors to translate enterprise strategy into our portfolio.
- We will shape portfolio strategic themes, portfolio vision and guardrails.
- We will establish the portfolio technology strategy and roadmap.
- We will help the portfolio and value streams adhere to budget guardrails.
- We will drive the architectural design for solutions in the portfolio.
- We will conduct research and identify prototyping needs.
- We will assess the applicability, scope and maturity of innovative new technologies.
- We will define cross-cutting Enabler Epics spanning multiple value streams and Programme Increments.
- We will write committee papers and build working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, especially business leaders.
- We will travel to other sites for key meetings and collaborative working as business demand requires.

The role is full time at 35 hours, with a team-led hybrid working approach of 2 to 3 days per week in our Coventry and/or Manchester office. The role can be based in Coventry or Manchester, and includes travel to other sites when needed.
