About the Project

We’re building a revolutionary, location-based mobile game based on the world’s strongest gaming IP — transforming the real world into a living, breathing game board. Players walk, buy, trade, and build real-world properties, powered by geolocation, real-time data, and AI personalization.

Our mission is not just to adapt a famous brand, but to redefine how players experience the world around them. This means pioneering a complete sonic identity for a global franchise — something that has never been done before in this space.

Your Mission

As Lead Audio Designer, you will be responsible for creating the soundtrack of an entire world. From ambient loops to iconic motifs, you will design the sonic identity that makes every step, purchase, and competition feel alive. You will also help us build our in-house studio from scratch and set the creative standard for audio in location-based gaming.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define the Sonic Identity: Build the audio DNA of the game — from catchy loops to adaptive soundscapes that respond to player actions and locations.

  • Category-Based Audio Design: Craft music and audio styles for ~150 property categories (cafés, airports, stadiums, museums, etc.), giving each its own personality.

  • Immersive Audio Systems: Create sound that enhances exploration, walking, and real-world discovery — making players feel the smell of money and progress.

  • Live Content & Events: Compose and adapt seasonal and event-based music that ties into real-world happenings.

  • Studio Setup: Select and help install the tools, instruments, and software needed to establish Reality Games’ first in-house sound lab.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure music integrates seamlessly with gameplay and monetization.

Why Join Us?

  • Global IP, startup energy: Be part of the world’s strongest game brand with the freedom to invent something entirely new.

  • Tech meets creativity: Work with real-time geolocation, AI personalization, and big data modeling — and create the sound layer that ties it all together.

  • Creative ownership: You won’t just implement — you’ll define how the game sounds to millions of players worldwide.

  • Build from scratch: Shape Reality Games’ first full-fledged music and sound studio in Kraków.

Please note: this is not a freelance or contract opportunity — it is a full-time, in-office position in Kraków. Since we are building the game’s complete audio identity and setting up a brand-new studio from scratch, we need someone fully integrated with the core team every day. The role requires close, ongoing collaboration with design, engineering, and production, which simply cannot be achieved in a freelance or remote setup

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of professional experience in music composition or sound design for games (F2P mobile preferred).

  • Skilled at writing short, loop-friendly compositions that remain engaging over long play sessions.

  • Comfortable working across multiple genres (jazz, trap, lo-fi, epic orchestral, electronic).

  • Excited by the challenge of combining real-world data, fitness mechanics, and game design into a cohesive audio experience.

  • Strong technical knowledge of DAWs, plugins, and adaptive audio tools.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.
