Lead Backend Developer
Summary
Lead backend developer building scalable Java/Spring Boot services and APIs, mentoring engineers, and integrating AI/LLMs to improve workflows and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of scalable backend and frontend features.
- Write clean, testable code using best practices, TDD, and design patterns.
- Mentor engineers and drive code quality, reviews, and CI/CD standards.
- Leverage AI/LLMs and explore new tools to improve productivity.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and strong test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, planning, and delivery.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software development experience; strong in Java/Spring Boot; frontend is a plus.
- Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Docker, Git, and Agile.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
- Exposure to or interest in AI/LLMs in engineering workflows.
- Good to Have: Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), testing frameworks, DevOps tools (Terraform), and secure/GDPR practices.
