About the role

Bybit is seeking a technical lead to architect and maintain our AI gateway platform and core ingress infrastructure. You will manage high-concurrency traffic systems while building out observability and routing governance for a global digital asset exchange.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement a unified access layer that handles multi-model, multi-cloud, and multi-vendor AI environments.
  • Build standardized monitoring, security auditing, and automated data flow management for AI ecosystems.
  • Develop and optimize core traffic ingress gateway features, including authentication, rate limiting, circuit breaking, and canary releases.
  • Improve system stability through performance tuning for high-concurrency and low-latency requirements.
  • Enhance disaster recovery, multi-cluster deployment, and elastic scaling capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Lua, with a strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
  • Practical experience with mainstream LLM API specifications and multi-model integration.
  • Hands-on background managing AI-specific technical hurdles like streaming (SSE) and long-lived connections.
  • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP/2, and gRPC protocols.
  • Experience with the internals or plugin development of gateway components such as Nginx, OpenResty, APISIX, or Kong.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to own technical modules independently.
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex engineering problems.
