Lead Business Analyst - EV
Summary
EPAM is hiring a Lead Business Analyst for an EV charging product: gathering customer, commercial, and technical needs into detailed requirements, guiding feature delivery in Agile/SCRUM, and supporting pilots and launches. Core tools include JIRA, Rally, Confluence, SQL, and API integrations.
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to turn EV charging business and technical demands into high-quality requirements that teams can build. You will work cross-functionally to validate concepts, guide feature delivery in Agile/SCRUM, and support launches.
Responsibilities
- Produce clear, detailed requirements from customer, commercial, operational, and technical needs, covering user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, edge cases, dependencies, and non-functional requirements
- Align on requirements and solution concepts with users, customers, operations teams, and engineering using interviews, workshops, prototypes, pilots, and feedback loops
- Own and advocate for user-centric, data-driven features from conception through implementation
- Define customer needs through persona-based research and product feedback, and help outline the overall customer journey
- Support feature delivery across multiple technical environments using Agile/SCRUM, managing tradeoffs among scope, resources, timeline, and customer benefit
- Manage beta and pilot programs for early-stage products
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive product launches
- Update and organize knowledge-sharing documentation and assets such as user guides, FAQs, and training videos
Requirements
- 10-14 years of overall IT experience, with at least 7-9 years as a product manager or business analyst within a technology environment
- Experience working with electric vehicle charging software offerings and EVs
- Background delivering complex products, preferably SaaS products, including development of self-service applications
- Strength in managing dependencies and securing stakeholder alignment, agreement, and trust to deliver successful products
- Experience collaborating with software engineering and development teams
- Competence in Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, BRD, FRD, and Stakeholder Management
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, API Integration, and SQL
- Proficiency with Rally, JIRA, and Confluence
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's Degree
