About the role We are in search of a seasoned DevOps/Cloud Engineer with extensive technical expertise spanning networks, on-premises data centers, as well as AWS and Azure environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on tackling complex infrastructures. At beslist.nl, we do not have a dedicated DevOps team, but we are committed to serious technical ambitions. We need a senior engineer who can work independently, contribute strategically, and remain hands-on.

What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure across various platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and on-premises data center management.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Nice to have
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
