Lead DevOps Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
Expertise on the AWS cloud platform — provisioning, maintaining and monitoring EKS, MSK, EC2, S3 and RDS services.
Knowledge of networking on AWS (VPC, API Gateway, Load Balancers).
Expertise in deployment tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Proficient in scripting in a popular language like Bash, YAML, JavaScript or Python.
Expertise in containerisation using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Excellent command over source configuration management tools like GitHub, Bitbucket and GitLab.
Experience with SonarQube, JaCoCo or similar tools for static code scanning.
Experience with APM solutions like Prometheus, Amazon CloudWatch, New Relic or Dynatrace.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Good verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
Preference for experience in a tech start-up (small company); experience with backend or frontend technologies is a plus.

Job Requirements :

• 5-12 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud computing (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Strong understanding of APM tools such as Dynatrace, SonarQube, Jacoco, etc. .
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy.
